OUR QUALITY COMMITMENT

The high quality of our products is hidden in the details and our long experience. Since 1896 knowledge has been passed from master to apprentice at Ekström & Son.

The overall responsibility for quality assurance is organised within a separate unit, operating independently from our manufacturing department. In order to assure quality through all processes we are certified to and apply ISO 9001-2008.

We continuously invest in modern machines. As an example we have a water jet cutting machine, handling steel plates with thicknesses up to 4 inches.

Technical manuals and testing documentation from non-penetrant testing are included in our documentation.

OUR TEST PROCEDURES

Our own quality control department has a wide array of equipment for non-destructive testing

Ekström & Son has its own quality assurance and control department with competence and equipment for extensive non-destructive testing.

We carry out testing with x-ray, penetrant, magnetic powder, ultra sonic, positive material identification and helium.
